PRIVATE EPHESUS & SIRINCE VILLAGE

You will be picked up from Izmir
airport, Kusadasi port, hotel or bus
station and then your full day private
guided tour of Ephesus and Sirince
Village will begin.
Visit The Temple of Artemis,
which once was one of the seven wonders
of the ancient world.
Visit the world famous ancient
Greco-Roman City of Ephesus, the
most well preserved example in the
world.
Visit The House of Virgin Mary,
where it is believed she spent her last
days, still a holy place for both
Christians and Muslims.
After lunch we will visit Sirince,
a beautiful hillside town famous for its
grape and fruit wines. |

This pretty
old Orthodox village, 12 km away from
Ephesus and 30 km from Kusadasi,
was once Cirkince
("ugly"). Indeed its habitants gave this
name on purpose as they did not want to
be bothered by foreigners nor to share
the beauty of their village.
Turks were repopulated here after the
exchange following WW I. Take a stroll,
do some shopping, take some photos
